Callum Hudson-Odoi has spoken of his delight at making his FA Cup debut on Saturday in Chelsea FC’s 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the third round.

The 18-year-old produced an excellent performance in the FA Cup clash to fuel the recent hype surrounding the promising Chelsea FC teenager in the British media.

Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Serie A champions Juventus over the past week or so since Christian Pulisic agreed to move to Chelsea FC from Borussia Dortmund.

The Chelsea FC star provided two crosses for Alvaro Morata in the west London outfit’s 2-0 win against Championship outfit Nottingham Forest to secure their place in the fourth round.

Hudson-Odoi has now made six appearances in all competitions this term, starting three times and making three substitute appearances.

Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website about his performance in the west London side’s 2-0 FA Cup win, Hudson-Odoi said:

“I feel really proud to get an opportunity to play and just to help the team get the win we deserved.

“I think we played really well and our mentality was strong. Alvaro did really well getting his goals and we all worked hard as a team. We deserved the win.”

Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action with a home clash against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

The Blues are in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points ahead of Manchester United, who have won their last four league games to close substantial ground on the west London side.
