Gonzalo Higuain looks to be settling in well to life at Chelsea FC following his loan move from Juventus
Gonzalo Higuain was all smiles as he posed for a picture with Willy Caballero and Marcos Alonso following his move to Chelsea FC.
The 31-year-old striker has moved to Chelsea FC on loan from Juventus until the end of the season after Maurizio Sarri moved quickly to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window.
Higuain watched on as Chelsea FC claimed a dramatic penalty shootout win over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night to book their place in the League Cup final.
The striker could be in line to make his debut for the west London club when Chelsea FC take on Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday night.
And the forward looked to be in high spirits as he posed for a picture with his Argentina team-mate Caballero and Alonso at Chelsea FC’s Cobham training ground this week.
Goalkeeper Caballero posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “The mate round has been extended, welcome @ghiguain20_9.”
Chelsea FC fans will be hoping to see Higuain adapt quickly to life at Stamford Bridge following his move to the west London side.
The Blues are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and finish in the top four and secure Champions League qualification in Sarri’s first campaign in charge.
