The Blues will be looking to reach their third successive FA Cup final after Antonio Conte managed to steer the west London side to Wembley in his two seasons in charge of the west London side.
Chelsea FC lost to Arsenal at the home of English football in 2017 to miss out on a league and cup double before Eden Hazard netted a winner in a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Wembley last season.
Maurizio Sarri took over the reins from Conte in the summer and the Italian coach will get his first taste of FA Cup football when Chelsea FC take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues will be looking to make amends for a frustrating goalless draw with Southampton at Stamford Bridge in mid-week which allowed Manchester United to close ground on fourth-placed Chelsea FC.
Nottingham Forest are in seventh place in the Championship table and four points adrift of the playoff spots.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is confident that the Blues will find a way past Nottingham Forest despite their patchy form.
“Chelsea face Spurs in the first-leg of their League Cup semi-final midweek and disappointed at Stamford Bridge over the Festive period, losing to Leicester and taking just a point from a goalless draw with Saints in midweek,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Forest knocked out the holders (Arsenal) at this corresponding stage last season, but that was at the City Ground and Chelsea have not exited the competition at the Third Round stage since 1998.
“Chelsea to qualify at the first time of asking.”
Chelsea FC are in fourth place in the Premier League table.
