Chelsea FC completed their first signing of the January transfer window on Wednesday after the Blues agreed a £58m fee with Borussia Dortmund for the United States international.
The west London side have loaned Pulisic back to the Bundesliga side for the remainder of the season before the American playmaker links up with his new team-mates in the summer.
Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri handed Hudson-Odoi his Premier League debut last week after the English forward came off the bench in Chelsea FC’s 2-1 win at Watford.
The 18-year-old has scored one goal in five appearances in all competitions this season to earn the Chelsea FC starlet promising reviews.
However, the England Under-19 international could find his route to the Chelsea FC first-team congested next season when Pulisic completes his move to Stamford Bridge.
Former Spurs midfielder Jenas is predicting that Hudson-Odoi will have to leave Chelsea FC in the near future.
“I think that’s harsh,” Jenas told BBC Sport as quoted by the Daily Star. “He’s a very gifted player, Christian Pulisic. 20 years old.
“My concern is that they’ve got Hudson-Odoi already.
“So why are they spending all this money on somebody new to come in?
“What does that mean for Hudson-Odoi? He’s probably going to have to move.
“Move him on and then we lose another one, don’t we.”
Chelsea FC were held to a goalless draw with Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to leave the Blues just six points ahead of Manchester United in the top-four race.
The Blues have lost to Tottenham, Leicester City and Wolves this season.
