The 18-year-old has emerged as a surprise target for Bayern Munich over the past couple of weeks, while Serie A giants Juventus have also been touted with an interest in the Chelsea FC forward.
Reports in the British media this week suggested that the Bundesliga champions had submitted a bid in the region of £35m to sign the England Under-19 international in the January transfer window.
Hudson-Odoi has only made 11 senior appearances for Chelsea FC but his reputation is such that the 18-year-old has two of Europe’s biggest clubs being regularly touted with a move to sign the Blues starlet.
The Chelsea FC youngster made two assists in their 2-0 win over Championship side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round at Stamford Bridge last weekend to underline his impressive talent.
Asked about Hudson-Odoi’s future at Chelsea FC following the west London side’s 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final on Tuesday night, Sarri told his post-match news conference:
“Hudson-Odoi in the last week has been very normal.
“I saw him every day in training and he was really very normal. He is improving, in the last match he played very well and also today a very good match. He played like a player of 25, 26 years.
“A very good match with application, very good in the defensive phase, but he has been completely normal. Maybe he does not read anything.”
Chelsea FC have already signed Christian Pulisic in a £58m deal in the January transfer window before loaning the attacking midfielder back to Borussia Dortmund.
