Chelsea FC set transfer price for Eden Hazard – report
Chelsea FC will seek a transfer fee of at least £100m to sell Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, according to reports
Chelsea FC will demand a fee of at least £100m to sell Eden Hazard if the playmaker makes it clear he wants to join Real Madrid in the summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Blues will look to secure a hefty transfer fee for the 28-year-old playmaker, despite Hazard having only 18 months left on his contract with the west London side.
According to the same story, Hazard hopes to find out whether Real Madrid plan to make a bid to sign him in the summer or not by the end of January.
The article also claims that both Hazard and Chelsea FC would prefer to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, despite the playmaker publicly saying that he would wait until the end of the season before making a decision.
The attacking midfielder has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but it still remains to be seen whether a transfer will materialise or not.
Hazard has been in good form for Chelsea FC so far this season under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
The playmaker has scored 10 goals and made 10 assists in 21 Premier League games for the Blues to help them up into fourth place in the table.
The Belgium international will be hoping to feature when the Blues take on Arsenal at The Emirates in the Premier League on Saturday.
