Chelsea FC are ready to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi a new contract worth up to £70,000 a week to keep him at the club, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the west London side are prepared to make the Blues starlet one of the best paid teenagers in world football to try and fend off interest from Bayern Munich.

The same story says that Chelsea FC are ready to table a deal worth £50,000 a week for the 18-year-old, and that contract could potentially increase to £70,000 a week.

The article reports that Bayern Munich have made their intentions to sign Hudson-Odoi “clear” and their latest bid has been in region of £35m.

It is also claimed in the same article that Hudson-Odoi is keen on a move to Bayern because he feels he will get more first-team opportunities at the German club.

However, it appears that Chelsea FC are set to make one last-ditch effort to try and keep Hudson-Odoi by offering him a new and improved contract.

The teenager has barely featured for Chelsea FC this season, only having made two substitute appearances in the Premier League.

Hudson-Odoi has scored one goal and made one assist in four Europa League games so far this season.
