Michael Owen is tipping Crystal Palace to earn a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs head into the game looking to bounce back to winning ways after the disappointment of their League Cup semi-final exit at the hands of Chelsea FC on penalties on Thursday night.

The Lilywhites will now be focusing on trying to progress in the FA Cup as they look to try and win their first trophy under Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs have been in decent form in recent weeks in the Premier League and they currently find themselves in third place in the table as they chase Champions League qualification once again.

However, former Liverpool FC star Owen seems to think that Crystal Palace are going to pose some significant problems for the north London side this weekend at Selhurst Park.

Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “The last six games between the clubs in all competitions have all finished 1-0, with Spurs winning five of those half dozen games.

“The Eagles played their part in a terrific game at Anfield on Saturday, but Spurs showed their mettle to come from behind to win at Craven Cottage 24-hours later.

“Spurs may not want a replay with the Champions League last 16 ties with Borussia Dortmund on the horizon, but I feel they will be grateful for another crack at Palace back at Wembley in what looks like being one of the ties of the round.”

Tottenham currently find themselves in third place in the Premier League table and five points behind second-placed Manchester City.

The Lilywhites will return to Premier League action on Wednesday night when they welcome Watford to Wembley.
