Eden Hazard makes decision about his Chelsea FC future – report
Eden Hazard will not seek to leave Chelsea FC this month but will look to join Real Madrid in the summer, say reports
Eden Hazard will not seek to leave Chelsea FC this month but will push for a transfer to Real Madrid in the summer, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Spanish newspaper Marca, as quoted by The Daily Mirror, is claiming that Hazard will not push for a transfer this month but will wait until the end of the season instead.
The same report claims that joining Real Madrid has been Hazard’s dream since he was at Lille, but he will wait until the end of the season before trying to “force” a move to the La Liga side.
According to the same story, Chelsea FC are reluctant to let Hazard leave the club but they do accept that the 28-year-old has always wanted to play for the Spanish side.
Hazard’s current contract with Chelsea FC is due to expire in the summer of 2020, and that means that the Blues may opt to sell him at the end of this season rather than risk losing him for free the following year.
The Belgium international is widely regarded as one of European football’s top attacking talents, and Hazard has scored 10 goals and made 10 assists in 24 Premier League games so far this term.
He will be expecting to feature when Chelsea FC host Tottenham Hotspur in the return leg of their League Cup semi-final clash at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.
