The 29-year-old hasn’t won silverware at Liverpool FC despite the Reds reaching the League Cup, the Europa League and the Champions League finals since Jurgen Klopp took over the reins in 2015.
Sturridge has scored two goals in 10 games in the Premier League this season, including a sensational equaliser in a 1-1 draw with his former club Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge back in October.
The Liverpool FC striker has been forced to settle for a role from the bench in the current campaign given the form of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Sturridge sent a message to Liverpool FC supporters about his sixth anniversary on social media.
