Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain hands Liverpool FC big injury boost – report
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be back in full training for Liverpool FC by late February, say reports
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is poised to hand Liverpool FC a major boost by returning to full training by late February, according to reports in the British regional media.
The Liverpool Echo is reporting that the midfielder has been stepping up his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury during the club’s warm weather training camp in Dubai.
The same report says that despite the fact that Liverpool FC are reluctant to put a timeframe on a potential return for Oxlade-Chamberlain, it is hoped that he will be back in full training at Melwood by mid to late February.
The same story claims that Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp had initially feared that Oxlade-Chamberlain could have missed the whole season after he suffered the knee problem against AS Roma at Anfield last April.
Now though, the article claims that it is “realistic” that Oxlade-Chamblerlain could be available for selection for Liverpool FC in March.
The Reds are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table and they will return to top flight action on Wednesday 30 January when they take on Leicester City at Anfield.
Liverpool FC are four points ahead of Manchester City, who continue to challenge to try and defend the title they won last term.
