Tottenham keen on signing 23-year-old from PSG – report
Tottenham are being linked with a move to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports
Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a move to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the north London side are ready to break their transfer duck with a move to try and bring the 23-year-old to the Premier League this month.
However, the same story claims that a move will only go through if PSG are able to find a suitable replacement. It is claimed that Everton’s Idrissa Gana Gueye is a top target for the Ligue 1 champions.
Rabiot is out of contract at PSG this summer and that means that the French side could be prepared to cash in this month if the right offer comes along.
The 23-year-old midfielder has found his first team opportunities to be somewhat limited this season, with Rabiot only having made 12 starts in Ligue 1 so far this term, scoring two goals and making one assist.
According to the same story, Spurs could face competition from FC Barcelona for Rabiot’s signature.
It is claimed that FC Barcelona have made a pre-contract offer to Rabiot but nothing has been signed so far.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are preparing to take on Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
