Unai Emery has set his sights on three signings despite having around £45m to spend on new additions in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Gunners boss is set to be given a limited transfer kitty at the end of the season despite being restricted to loan signings last month.

The same article states that Emery has been informed of his summer budget and the Arsenal manager is still hoping to bring in three new players.

According to the same story, Emery has set his sights on signing a new left-back to provide Sead Kolasinac with competition for a starting spot.

The Daily Mail goes on to add that the Spanish head coach will be able to increase his budget if he is able to offload some players, notably Mesut Ozil.

With Aaron Ramsey, Petr Cech and Danny Welbeck all set to be released in the summer, Ozil’s departure could save the Gunners an estimated £650,000 a week in wages.

Arsenal need to improve their defence given their performance so far this season, conceding 36 goals in 25 games in the Premier League so far.

The Gunners suffered a 3-1 loss to defending Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday evening.
