Chelsea FC will demand Real Madrid pay £100m for Eden Hazard – report
Chelsea FC have settled on a £100m asking price for Real Madrid target Eden Hazard, according to a report in England
Chelsea FC will demand £100m if Real Madrid make a bid for Eden Hazard this summer, according to a report in England.
The London Evening Standard is reporting that the Blues are not willing to concede defeat in terms of retaining their prized asset’s services.
The same article states that Chelsea FC are prepared to offer their number 10 a contract worth in excess of £300,000 a week.
According to the same story, the west London side will not allow Hazard to run down his current deal, which is set to expire at the end of the 2019-20 season.
The London media outlet goes on to add that Hazard is only interested in a move to Real Madrid and the Belgium international will stay at Chelsea FC should a switch to The Bernabeu fail to materialise.
Hazard has been one of Maurizio Sarri’s top performers in the current Premier League season following a return of 12 goals and 10 assists in 24 games.
However, Chelsea FC are involved in an intense battle to secure a top-four finish after a mixed run of results left the door ajar for Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Blues will take on defending champions and current leaders Manchester City in their next Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
