Eden Hazard is set to inform Chelsea FC that he wants to move to Real Madrid in the summer, according to a report in England.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Belgium international hasn’t told the Blues of his desire to finally move to The Bernabeu.
The same article states that Hazard’s contract talks with Chelsea FC have stalled to cast doubt on his future at the west London side.
According to the same story, the 28-year-old has been given assurances by Real Madrid that they will look to sign the Chelsea FC number 10 this summer.
The British media outlet goes on to add that Chelsea FC value Hazard at around £100m ahead of the 2019 summer transfer window.
The Belgium international has less than 18 months left to run on his current deal, increasing the risk of Hazard running down his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard has scored 12 goals and has made 10 assists in 24 games in the Premier League this season to impress in Maurizio Sarri’s first season in charge.
However, the Blues are embroiled in a three-way battle to secure a top-four spot with Arsenal and Manchester United.
Chelsea FC will take on Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup fifth round at Stamford Bridge later this month.
