Real Madrid could offer Chelsea FC top 26-year-old in Eden Hazard deal – report
Real Madrid are hoping the chance to sign Isco or Marco Asensio will tempt Chelsea FC into selling Eden Hazard, according to a report
Real Madrid are confident of securing Eden Hazard’s signature for less than £100m if they offer Isco or Marco Asensio to Chelsea FC, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail is reporting that los Blancos are growing increasingly confident that they won’t have to match Chelsea FC’s asking price given that Hazard will have 12 months left to run on his contract this summer.
The same article states that Real Madrid are looking to use the same blueprint that allowed them to sign Thibaut Courtois after the Spanish side submitted a £30m bid as well as sending Mateo Kovacic on loan to Stamford Bridge.
According to the same story, the Champions League holders could use Isco, 26, or Asensio, 23, as part of the deal for Hazard in order to secure the Belgium international’s signature after a protracted pursuit of the winger.
Hazard has scored 12 times in the Premier League this season and is set to smash his best return for an individual campaign in the English top flight.
The Chelsea FC playmaker has also contributed 10 assists but his performances have not been enough to help the Blues build a substantial lead in the top-four race.
Sarri’s men will make the daunting trip to defending champions Manchester City in their next Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
