Higuain joined the Blues on a season-long loan deal from Juventus last month as Maurizio Sarri moved quickly to bring in some attacking reinforcements ahead of the second part of the season.
The Argentina international has already made a strong start to life at Chelsea FC and he netted twice in the 5-0 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.
The 31-year-old will be aiming to try and help Chelsea FC enjoy a strong end to the campaign and secure their place in the top four this season.
And Blues playmaker Hazard has insisted that he has already been impressed by what he has seen from his new team-mate in the last few days.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Hazard said: “When we have the ball, we have a lot of freedom, not just me but the striker [Higuain] and the right [attacker] Willian or Pedro, so we can move a lot.
“I’ve only played two games with Higuain and I know we can do something great together, not only with him but also with the other strikers, the other winger.
“Chelsea is not about Higuain and Hazard, it is about 25 players. But Higuain is a fantastic striker.”
Both Hazard and Higuain will be hoping to feature when Chelsea FC take on Manchester City in the Premier League at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues will then play Malmo in the Europa League last 32 on Thursday night.
