Journalist: Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard is looking for a house in Madrid
Eden Hazard is already house-hunting in Spain ahead of a possible move to Real Madrid, claims Spanish journalist
Eden Hazard is already looking for a house in Spain amid a possible move to Real Madrid from Chelsea FC this summer, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda.
The Chelsea FC playmaker has long been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid and those rumours could be set to intensify this summer, with Hazard’s current deal at Stamford Bridge set to expire at the end of next season.
Chelsea FC may look to try and offload the 28-year-old this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing in 2020 if it becomes clear that he will not sign a new deal with the Blues.
According to OK Diario reporter Inda, Hazard is already looking for a house in Madrid ahead of a potential move, and his Belgium team-mate Thibaut Courtois has been offering him a helping hand.
Speaking to OK Diario, Inda said, as quoted by the Daily Express: “Hazard is already looking for a house in Madrid and Courtois is helping him, they are close friends.
“He has hired a real estate broker to style the market. What he wants most is to go live at La Finca, I imagine he will buy.”
He continued: “The great alternative is the house of Gareth Bale in the event that the Welshman, as all indications [suggest], leaves Madrid.
“The house of Bale has history, Hazard would be the third to live there, since Kaka also lived at the property.”
Hazard has been in good form this season for Chelsea FC and has scored 12 goals and made 10 assists in 25 Premier League games.
He was unable to prevent Chelsea FC from slipping to a disappointing 6-0 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
Hazard will be expecting to feature when Chelsea FC host Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday night.
