Man United could offload 25-year-old in deal to sign Dybala or Icardi – report
Manchester United are ready to offload Romelu Lukaku to fund a move for either Paulo Dybala or Mauro Icardi, according to a report
Manchester United are hoping to offload Romelu Lukaku to fund a move for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala or Inter Milan forward Paulo Dybala, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the 20-time English champions are ready to cash in on the Belgium international after a difficult one-and-a-half seasons at Old Trafford.
The same article states that the Red Devils have already made contact with Juventus and Inter Milan about Dybala and Icardo respectively ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the same story, Dybala has fallen out with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and Icardi isn’t on good terms with Inter Milan boss Luciano Spaletti.
The Daily Mirror goes on to suggest that Manchester United are hoping to include Lukaku in any deal for Dybala or Icardi to reduce the transfer fee.
Lukaku has been a big disappointment since his £75m move to Manchester United from Everton in 2017 when Jose Mourinho was still in charge.
The former Chelsea FC striker has netted 36 times in 83 games in all competitions since his switch to Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will take on Chelsea FC in the FA Cup fifth round at Stamford Bridge on Monday night with a place in the quarter-final draw up for grabs.
