Man United make approach to sign talented 18-year-old – report
Man United are interested in signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports
Manchester United have made a surprise approach to Borussia Dortmund to try and sign Jadon Sancho, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on Sancho, who featured for Dortmund during their defeat by Tottenham in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The same report says that Manchester United have been quoted a fee of around £70m for the winger as they ponder a summer move to try and bring him to Old Trafford.
According to the same article, Sancho could find a move to Manchester United “difficult to resist”, despite him having signed for Dortmund from rivals Manchester City.
The story also claims that Manchester City would be entitled to a 15 per cent sell-on fee as part of their original deal to sell him to Dortmund.
Sancho has been in top form for Borussia Dortmund so far this season, scoring seven goals and making nine assists in 21 Bundesliga appearances.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their FA Cup fifth-round clash against Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
The Red Devils are looking to get back to winning ways after the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week.
