Manchester United are prepared to offer Marcus Rashford a new contract worth £200,000 a week, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Red Devils are closing in on an agreement with the England forward as they look to get the attacker to commit his long-term future to the club.
The 21-year-old striker has been in good form for the Red Devils this season, having scored nine goals and made six assists in the Premier League so far.
According to the same story, Rashford’s new contract could be worth as much as £200,000 a week plus bonuses.
The same report says that Manchester United have been keen to try and get Rashford to commit his long-term future to the club and fend off interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
The story also reports that Rashford currently earns around £75,000 a week at Old Trafford and that his deal is set to expire in 2020, with the option for a further 12 months.
It is claimed in the same article that Rashford’s new contract at Manchester United will run until 2024 and is set to make him one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.
