Ray Parlour states his prediction for Man United v PSG
Ray Parlour has his say on Man United's hopes of beating PSG in the Champions League last 16
Ray Parlour believes that Manchester United have a great chance of being able to beat Paris Saint-Germain and reach the Champions League quarter-finals under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils have been in brilliant form in recent weeks since Solskjaer was brought in as the club’s interim manager back in December following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United are now in fifth place in the Premier League table after having won all but one of their top-flight games under the Norwegian manager.
Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game as Manchester United claimed a 1-0 win over Leicester City in the top flight on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United will take on Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month.
And Arsenal legend Parlour seems to think that the Red Devils have a much better chance of finishing in the top four and reaching the quarter-finals under Solskjaer than they would have done under Mourinho.
“They can get in the top four. They’ve got every chance now,” Parlour told The Debate on Sky Sports.
“The Champions League [against PSG] is now a totally different game.
“If it was under Jose Mourinho, you’d say they’ve got no chance. Now, the way they’re playing on the break, they look comfortable.”
Manchester United will take on Paris Saint-Germain at home in the first leg on 12 February, before the return leg at Parc des Princes on 6 March.
