Martin Keown believes that Tottenham Hotspur are still very much in the Premier League title race this season.

Although most of the talk has been about the battle between Manchester City and Liverpool FC at the top of the table, Tottenham have been quietly keeping themselves in the mix with a string of solid results.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won their last four Premier League games on the spin to leave them third in the table and only five points behind table-toppers Manchester City with a game in hand.

Tottenham will be hoping to keep themselves in the mix as the season continues as Pochettino looks for his first trophy as Spurs boss.

And Arsenal legend Keown has admitted that he has been impressed by the way the north London side have been going about their business this season under Pochettino.

Writing in his column for the Daily Mail, Keown said: “Tottenham seem not to know when they are beaten.

:When Liverpool or Manchester City drop points, it is seen as a blow to their title hopes.

“Spurs are not under the same pressure… and that is keeping them very much in this race.”

Tottenham will return to Premier League action on Saturday 23 February when they take on Burnley away from home.

They will then travel to Chelsea FC on Wednesday 27 February before a crunch clash against Arsenal at Wembley on 2 March.
