Martin Keown predicts where Arsenal, Man United will finish
Daily Mail pundit Martin Keown is tipping north London duo Arsenal and Tottenham to finish in the final two top four spots
Martin Keown is backing Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to finish in the top four ahead of Chelsea FC and Manchester United this season.
The Gunners will start the Premier League weekend in fourth place and two points ahead of Manchester United.
However, Unai Emery’s side won’t play until Monday night when Arsenal take on Newcastle United at The Emirates.
Manchester United will hoist themselves above Arsenal and into fourth spot for at least 48 hours if the Red Devils beat Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Chelsea FC are in sixth place in the table ahead of their clash against Cardiff City and three points behind Arsenal.
Tottenham will be hoping to avoid a fourth loss in five games in the Premier League when they take on leaders Liverpool FC.
Former Arsenal defender Keown is backing Emery’s side to sneak fourth spot ahead of Chelsea FC and Manchester United.
“Five of Arsenal’s final eight games are away from home but I suspect they’ll sneak fourth,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“Tottenham should finish in the top four, so Manchester United and Chelsea may miss out.”
Arsenal haven’t finished in the Premier League’s top four in the last two seasons, culminating in Arsene Wenger’s exit at the end of the 2017-18 season.
The Gunners will take on Napoli in the Europa League quarter-finals, while Chelsea FC will face Slavia Prague in the last eight.
Manchester United host FC Barcelona in the Champions League next month, while Tottenham will face domestic rivals Manchester City over two legs.
