The north London side are likely to be linked with a number of players in the coming weeks and months as Unai Emery starts to think about strengthening his squad for next season.
Arsenal are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table and they will be aiming to try and finish in the Champions League spots this term.
However, the club’s officials will also now have one eye on the forthcoming summer transfer window as they look to add more quality to their squad ahead of next season.
According to reporter Watts, Arsenal are on the lookout for signings in three main positions, including finding a long-term replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey.
Speaking to Football.London, Watts said: “The three areas where Arsenal are prioritising are left-back, a wide attacker and a replacement for Aaron Ramsey.
“I think they will go back in for Christopher Nkunku at PSG and Ismaila Sarr at Rennes is certainly a winger they are looking at.
“Nicolas Pepe was first choice, but he is now well out of Arsenal’s price range and seems bound for Bayern Munich.
“In terms of left-back, I don’t know who they will sign.
“They like [Kieran] Tierney at Celtic but he will be too expensive.”
Arsenal will return to Premier League action after the international break when they host Newcastle United at The Emirates on Monday 1 April.
The Gunners are currently fourth and just a point behind third-placed Tottenham Hotspur as the race for the Champions League qualification spots hots up.
Arsenal will take on Napoli in the quarter-finals of the Europa League at The Emirates next month.
