Michael Owen reveals his prediction for Man United's Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday
Michael Owen is tipping Manchester United to claim victory over Arsenal in the Premier League clash at The Emirates on Sunday.
The Red Devils head into the game fresh from having sealed a superb 3-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been earning huge amounts of praise for the impact he has had since taking over from Jose Mourinho on an interim basis back in December.
Indeed, Manchester United are unbeaten in all competitions away from home and they have already beaten Arsenal at The Emirates in the FA Cup this season.
And former Manchester United striker Owen is tipping the Red Devils to claim a victory in north London on Sunday to put them in the driving seat for a top-four finish.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Arsenal have won their last eight home league games but, sandwiched in-between, they did lose at home to United in the FA Cup back in January and I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side can win their seventh successive away league game.
“Only City (42) have picked up more home league points than Arsenal (38) but I felt United were good value for their Cup success and they can win an open entertaining, but fiercely competitive clash at the Emirates.”
Arsenal are currently fifth in the table and a point behind Manchester United, and they know that victory over the Red Devils would move them fourth in the hunt for Champions League qualification.
The Gunners have not qualified for the Champions League for the last two seasons and they ended up sixth last term under Arsene Wenger.
