Chelsea FC want to keep all of their players this summer due to the club’s transfer ban, according to Andreas Christensen.

The west London side have been banned from signing new players until January 2020 after Fifa found that they had breached rules regarding the signing of under-age players on a number of different occasions.

Chelsea FC have since appealed the transfer ban but a request to freeze the suspension during the appeal has been denied.

Christensen’s future at Stamford Bridge has been something of a source of speculation in recent months due to his lack of playing time at the west London club.

He has so far only made three Premier League appearances this season, although he has started 10 times in the Europa League.

Now, the defender has suggested that Chelsea FC will not be letting any of their players leave this summer.

Christensen is quoted as saying by Metro: “The messages we’ve got are that Chelsea can’t appeal the case and therefore want to keep all the players,

“The situation I have ended up in has been very difficult to accept.”

Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Sunday when they travel to Cardiff City in the top flight.

The west London side are currently sixth in the table as they bid to break back into the top four before the season is out.
