Chelsea FC make decision about Callum Hudson-Odoi future – report
Chelsea FC do not want to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer, say reports
Chelsea FC have told Callum Hudson-Odoi that he will not be sold this summer even if he refuses to sign a new contract, according to reports in the British media.
The Times is reporting that the Blues are keen to keep hold of the 18-year-old attacker, who impressed on his full England debut against Montenegro on Monday night.
Hudson-Odoi’s situation at Chelsea FC has been a relentless source of speculation recently because his current contract is set to expire at the end of next season.
However, according to the same article, Chelsea FC are determined not to let the teenager leave this summer, despite interest from big clubs in Europe.
According to the story, Hudson-Odoi “is adamant” that he wants to leave Chelsea FC after the Blues blocked a move to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
And the same article says that both the Bundesliga club and Manchester United are preparing bids to try and sign the England international at the end of the season.
If Hudson-Odoi refuses to sign a new contract at Chelsea FC, the Blues risk the possibility of losing him on a free transfer in the summer of 2020.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Cardiff City.
