Ian Wright took to social media to blame the officials for getting key decisions wrong as Chelsea FC came from a goal down to claim a 2-1 win at Cardiff City.

After a goalless first half in Wales, the home side took the lead in the 46th minute when Victor Camarasa netted for Neil Warnock’s men.

Chelsea FC drew level in the 84th minute when Cesar Azpilicueta headed home from a clearly offside position.

Substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek then headed home the winner in the 91st minute to claim all three points for Maurizio Sarri’s men.

The result was an important one for Chelsea FC in the race for a top-four finish – but Arsenal legend Wright clearly felt that Cardiff City were hard done by with some of the decisions by the officials.

Wright posted on Twitter after the final whistle: “Exhausting watching our officials getting it so wrong!

“You work all week to come up against a team that is vastly better than you only to be undone because of decisions like that.

“I don’t care how amusing the post match press conferences will be – that’s not what it’s about!”

The result left Chelsea FC in sixth place in the Premier League table and level on points with fifth-placed Arsenal, who take on Newcastle United at home on Monday night.

Chelsea FC will take on Brighton at Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League game on Wednesday night.
