Chelsea FC ‘considering’ move concerning Callum Hudson-Odoi – report
Chelsea FC could offer Callum Hudson-Odoi a new contract worth £100,000 a week, say reports
Chelsea FC are “considering” offering Callum Hudson-Odoi a new contract worth £100,000 a week to try and convince him to stay at Stamford Bridge, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Blues are weighing up whether to offer the talented teenager a big pay-rise to try and get him to commit his future to the west London club.
The 18-year-old’s situation at Stamford Bridge has been a constant source of speculation recently and he was heavily linked with a move away in January.
His current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2020, meaning that he could leave for nothing at the end of next season if he does not pen a new deal at Chelsea FC.
According to the same story, Chelsea FC have “ruled out” the possibility of selling Hudson-Odoi to a Premier League rival, after Bayern Munich had four bids turned down in January.
The same article says that Bayern are expected to return with fresh interest in the 18-year-old this summer.
The story says that Chelsea FC are not willing to let Hudson-Odoi leave without a fight, and they will attempt to convince him to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
The same article says that Hudson-Odoi rejected Chelsea FC’s latest offer of a new deal, which was worth around £85,000 a week.
