Real Madrid approach Chelsea FC about Eden Hazard transfer – report
Real Madrid are keen on a move to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC this summer, say reports
Real Madrid have approached Chelsea FC about the possibility of signing Eden Hazard this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Spanish giants have stepped up their interest in the 28-year-old playmaker, shortly before they announced the return of Zinedine Zidane as manager on Monday.
According to the same report, Hazard is expected to tell Chelsea FC to allow him to move to Real Madrid this summer following the re-appointment of Zidane.
The same article says that Hazard is a “huge admirer” of Zidane and has named the World Cup winner as his idol growing up.
The story also says that Chelsea FC value Hazard at around £100m and have offered him a new contract worth more than £300,000 a week to try and get him to stay at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard was the hero on Sunday when he scored the late equaliser to earn Chelsea FC a point against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
The former Lille playmaker has been in good form this season, scoring 13 goals and making 11 assists for Chelsea FC under Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues are currently sixth in the Premier League table as they chase a top-four finish in Sarri’s first campaign in charge.
