Michael Owen is backing Chelsea FC to make it three wins in a row in the Premier League when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Blues are looking to keep up their bid to finish in the top four this season as they seek Champions League qualification under Maurizio Sarri.

Chelsea FC currently find themselves in sixth place in the Premier League table but they know that they can move above Manchester United and into fourth place if they win their game in hand.

The west London side have claimed back to back Premier League wins against Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham in recent days, and former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing the Blues to claim all three points on Sunday afternoon against Wolves.

Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “Wolves have already picked up a point at Old Trafford and the Emirates as well as gaining a famous win at Wembley this season although, surprisingly, they were beaten at Huddersfield in their last away league game.

“Wolves won the reverse fixture at Molineux back in December and they are looking to become the first newly promoted side to do the double over Chelsea since Charlton in the 2000-01 campaign.

“Chelsea have won their last couple of home league games, however, and I feel they will just do enough to maintain their challenge for a top-four finish.”

Chelsea FC are looking to try and break back into the top four this season after they finished fifth and won the FA Cup last term under Antonio Conte.

The Blues will be eager to secure Champions League qualification for next season as they look to re-establish themselves at the top of English football.
