Liverpool FC and Man United linked with move to sign top 26-year-old – report
Man United and Liverpool FC are being linked with a move to sign Isco from Real Madrid this summer, say reports
Liverpool FC and Manchester United are both interested in moves to sign Isco from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is reporting that both of the Premier League clubs are keen on moves to bring the Real Madrid midfielder to England.
The same story says that the Spain international’s future at the Bernabeu is in doubt because of his inconsistent form in the Spanish top flight this season.
Isco has only scored one goal and made one assist in 16 La Liga games this term, and he has only started five times in the Spanish top flight for Los Blancos.
He played the final 15 minutes of Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss to FC Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday night.
According to the same story, Juventus are also being linked with a move to try and sign Isco – whose contract expires in 2022 – this summer.
It is claimed in the same article that both Manchester United and Liverpool FC are monitoring the situation ahead of potential summer swoops to bring him to the Premier League.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool FC are likely to be linked with a number of players over the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window draws nearer.
Neither club brought in any reinforcements in the January transfer window as they opted to stick with what they’ve got.
