Anthony Martial couldn’t hide his delight after the Manchester United forward posted a video celebrating Marcus Rashford’s penalty after Wednesday night’s 3-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain.

The France international would have been forgiven for thinking his participation in the Champions League was over this season following his injury last month.

Martial suffered a first-half setback in Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

The 23-year-old, who signed a new long-term deal at Old Trafford last month, was forced to watch the return leg at home as Martial continues to recover from his groin problem.

Romelu Lukaku scored in the second minute after a PSG mix-up at the back, but the Ligue 1 side were level 10 minutes later through Juan Bernat.

The Belgian forward restored Manchester United’s lead with another close-range finish to leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side requiring one more goal.

Manchester United were given a VAR-awarded penalty deep into stoppage time when Presnel Kimpembe was adjudged to have handled Diogo Dalot’s ambitious shot.

And the crocked France forward posted a video of him watching Marcus Rashford’s run up before his delirious celebration after his team-mate’s emphatic penalty.

Martial posted the below photo and wrote the following caption on his Instagram page:

“Well done boys i’m so happy 😄😂 🔴🔴🔴 @manchesterunited”

Manchester United are looking to win the Champions League title for the first time since 2008.
