Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Man United to sign 23-year-old France star – report
Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to sign PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to a report
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has set his sights on adding Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot to his Manchester United squad this summer, according to a report in England.
The Sun, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Manchester United interim manager is eager to sign the France international at the end of the Premier League season.
The same article states that the Red Devils boss would be willing to meet Rabiot’s demands of £200,000-a-week and a £10m signing-on fee.
According to the same story, the 20-time English champions are looking to sign a player capable of linking the defence and the attack next season.
The report goes on to add that Arsenal, Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in a potential swoop to sign the PSG star, who’ll be a free agent this summer.
Rabiot has been frozen out at PSG under current manager Thomas Tuchel to raise questions about his long-term future.
The French midfielder has scored two goals and has made one assist in 14 games in Ligue 1 this season.
Rabiot wasn’t part of the PSG team that suffered a 3-1 loss to Manchester United in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie earlier this month.
The 23-year-old hasn’t featured for the Ligue 1 title holders since a 4-1 victory over Red Star Belgrade back in December.
