Arsenal are interested in a potential deal to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser in the summer, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Gunners manager Unai Emery is eager to add more width to the Arsenal team in his second summer transfer window in charge of the north London side.
The same article states that Arsenal could face competition from their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign the Scotland international.
According to the same story, Emery will have to work within a tight summer budget, just like the Spanish head coach had to do in the January transfer window.
Fraser has been in excellent form for Bournemouth in the Premier League campaign to attract apparent interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.
The 25-year-old has scored six goals and has made 10 assists in 32 games in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal were 2-0 winners against Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night thanks to goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gunners hoisted themselves above local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table in the race to secure a Champions League spot, ahead of their trip to Everton on Sunday.
Arsenal haven’t finished in the Premier League’s top four since the 2015-16 season under Emery’s predecessor Arsene Wenger.
