Callum Hudson-Odoi takes to social media to issue an update on his injury for Chelsea FC fans

Callum Hudson-Odoi has taken to social media to reveal that his season is over after he suffered a ruptured Achilles in Chelsea FC’s 2-2 draw with Burnley on Monday night.
The 18-year-old was forced off after 41 minutes of the Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge after suffering the injury, which will keep him out until next season.
Chelsea FC could only muster a 2-2 draw with Burnley in front of their home fans as they suffered a fresh setback to their hopes of finishing in the top four this term.
It is a disappointing end to the season for the England international, who had only just begun to force his way into the first team at Stamford Bridge.
And Hudson-Odoi confirmed the setback and the extent of the injury via a post on Instagram.
He shared the photo below and wrote the caption: “Really gutted to end my season with an Ruptured Achilles, gotta work hard and try and come back stronger for next season!!! 😢🙏🏾❤️.”
Hudson-Odoi has scored four goals and made three assists in all competitions for Chelsea FC this season.
The Blues will return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Manchester United to take on the Red Devils at Old Trafford this weekend.
Chelsea FC are currently fourth in the table as they seek Champions League qualification for next term.
