The Premier League leaders will welcome the west London side to Anfield in pursuit of a fifth successive Premier League victory to maintain their title charge.
Liverpool FC are sitting at the top of the table and two points ahead of defending champions Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have played a game less.
The Reds warmed up for the Premier League clash with a resounding 2-0 victory over FC Porto in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.
Klopp’s side have enjoyed a longer rest than Chelsea FC, who were 2-0 winners against West Ham at Stamford Bridge at the start of the week before a 1-0 victory at Slavia Prague in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Hazard produced a man of the match performance against West Ham following a superb solo goal before netting his second in the final minutes of the London derby.
Speaking at his pre-match media conference on Friday, Klopp discussed Hazard’s ability and how Liverpool FC will prepare to face the Chelsea FC talisman.
“We will try to make sure he doesn’t shine by reading the game and reading passes to him, reacting a little better,” Klopp said.
“It’s not easy. In some situations you can’t defend and hopefully help will come in from somewhere else.
“On his day he can be the world’s best. He has had a brilliant career so far and he has a lot of the things that I like in football.
“He is a good player but with all good players, they have to play against us and we will try everything to deny a couple of his skills.”
Hazard has scored 16 goals and has made 12 assists in 32 appearances in the Premier League.
