Eden Hazard is confident that Chelsea FC will be able to finish in the Premier League’s top four this season.

The Blues have won their last two games in the top flight to boost their hopes of securing qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Chelsea FC currently find themselves in sixth place in the Premier League table heading into this weekend’s round of games.

They are level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal but have played a game more than the Gunners, who travel to Everton in the top flight on Sunday.

Hazard, who scored Chelsea FC’s second goal in their 3-0 win over Brighton on Wednesday, seems to be convinced that the Blues will be able to finish in the top four this season.

Speaking in an interview quoted by Chelsea FC’s website, Hazard said: “I like that because people are not talking about Chelsea for the top four so we are quiet.

“We want to take it game by game, we have hard games to play in two or three weeks, against Liverpool away and Man United away, but Chelsea is a top club, we like this challenge so we will go to those teams and try to win games.

“Tottenham for two or three years are one of the best teams in England, for sure.

“We are Chelsea and it is a big derby, I don’t like that to be fair but we have to accept it and also for the Premier League it is good.

“They have a new stadium and top players but in the end, at Chelsea we have won a lot of trophies and them not so, and I hope this continues!’

Hazard has been in top form this season and has scored 14 goals and made 12 assists in 31 Premier League games for the Blues.

Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Monday night when they host bitter local rivals West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

The west London side are aiming to break back into the top four this season after having finished fifth and won the FA Cup last term under Antonio Conte.
