Marca is reporting that the Belgian playmaker is now finally closing in on his move to Real Madrid, having been linked with a switch to the La Liga side for quite some time.
According to the same story, Chelsea FC, Real Madrid and Hazard himself are close to reaching a final agreement for the Belgian playmaker to move to the Bernabeu and link up with Zinedine Zidane.
The same article claims that Zidane gave his approval for the transfer last week after taking into consideration what his squad needs this summer.
The article also claims that Real Madrid first approached Chelsea FC about signing the 28-year-old last summer but then withdrew their interest in the former Lille star.
Hazard has been in good form for Chelsea FC this season, scoring 14 goals and making 12 assists in 31 Premier League games for Maurizio Sarri’s side.
The playmaker will be expected to feature when Chelsea FC return to Premier League action on Monday night with a home clash against London rivals West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.
