Chelsea FC make Callum Hudson-Odoi decision – report
Chelsea FC have paused talks with Callum Hudson-Odoi about a new contract at Stamford Bridge, according to a report
Chelsea FC have decided to pause discussions with England international Callum Hudson-Odoi over a new deal, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by website 101 Great Goals, is reporting that the Blues have stalled talks with the English teenager until the end of the season.
The same article states that the Chelsea FC board have made the decision having failed to make any progress with Hudson-Odoi’s representatives so far.
According to the same story, the Blues are hoping that Hudson-Odoi could be open to a long-term stay if the 18-year-old gets more game-time in the remaining fixtures of the campaign.
Hudson-Odoi made an assist for Chelsea FC team-mate Ross Barkley on his England debut in a 5-1 victory over Montenegro in their Euro 2020 qualifier last month.
The Chelsea FC teenager has scored five goals and has made two assists in 10 games in the Europa League and the FA Cup this season.
Hudson-Odoi has made seven substitute appearances in the Premier League this term, and he started his first top flight game of the season on Wednesday night in the 3-0 win over Brighton.
Chelsea FC will take on West Ham United in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Monday night in their next game.
