Mohamed Salah has vowed that the Liverpool FC squad will “give everything” in pursuit of Premier League title glory.

The Reds left it late against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday evening after Toby Alderweireld’s own goal sealed three points in added time at the end of the second half.

Brazil international Roberto Firmino broke the deadlock in the first half with a brilliant header after Andy Robertson contributed his 11th assist of the Premier League campaign.

Lucas Moura equalised with 20 minutes to go after some scrappy Liverpool FC defending presented the Brazilian winger with a chance to make the breakthrough.

Liverpool FC looked to be heading for another stalemate that would prove costly in their pursuit of a first-ever Premier League title.

However, Salah managed to force Hugo Lloris to make an error, which led to Alderweireld’s own goal in added time at the end of the Anfield clash.

Liverpool FC’s narrow 2-1 win hoisted Jurgen Klopp’s side above Manchester City with six games remaining for the Merseyside outfit.

Egyptian forward Salah reassured the club’s fans that the Liverpool FC players were giving 100 per cent in the hope of bringing the Premier League crown to Anfield.

“It’s a big difference [to score late goals], especially if you see the fans after the game – it was crazy,” Salah is quoted as saying by Liverpool FC’s website.

“They just really want to win the Premier League and we’ll do everything to make that happen. They help us a lot during the game, the atmosphere and they push you hard to create chances and play better.

“Big teams always find a way to get the points. Maybe in the second half we didn’t play at the top of our game but we won the game and that’s the most important thing. That’s a big team – you always have to find a way to win and that’s what we did.”

Salah has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season, having netted 32 times in his first top-flight campaign as a Liverpool FC player.
