Liverpool FC or Manchester City? The Premier League title race is the closest it has been in recent memory and the stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the season.

In this article, we’re going to take a look at some of the betting odds to see where both teams stand in the race for the Premier League crown.

As things stand, Liverpool FC are two points clear at the top of the Premier League table, but the Reds have played one game less than their title rivals and defending champions Manchester City.

Despite all of the praise that has been directed Liverpool FC’s way in recent seasons, the Reds are yet to lift their first trophy since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment at the club back in October 2015.

Liverpool FC did come close to winning a trophy last season but they ended up losing 3-1 to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last May.

Manchester City have already lifted one trophy this season, after beating Chelsea FC on penalties in the League Cup final back in February.

The Citizens have been in fine form this season and they are aiming to retain the trophy they won last season under Pep Guardiola.

Taking a look at the betting markets, Manchester City remain as the slight favourites to retain their title this season, even though they are behind Liverpool FC in the table this season.

Manchester City are currently priced at odds of around 4/7 with Paddy Power to retain their title, with Liverpool FC slightly longer at around 11/8.

If you’re thinking of backing one of the two teams to win the title this season, then it may be worth looking for a bet365 signup offer if you don’t already have an account with them.

Of course, there are plenty of other bookmakers to choose from too.

Looking ahead to the final few weeks of the season, there are some clear games that stand out in the title race.

For example, Liverpool FC will take on Chelsea FC at Anfield this weekend in what looks to be a tricky clash, with the Blues themselves fighting hard to seal a top four finish.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s biggest remaining test in the Premier League this season is their crunch trip to bitter local rivals Manchester United on Wednesday 24 April at Old Trafford.

This is Manchester City’s game in hand, and if Liverpool FC keep up their fine form, there will be no margin for error for Guardiola’s men.

There is no doubt that this season’s Premier League title race looks set to be one of the most enthralling ones in living memory.
