Liverpool FC prepared to sell 23-year-old midfielder this summer – report
Liverpool FC are prepared to cash-in on Marko Grujic this summer, according to reports
Liverpool FC will sanction a move to sell Marko Grujic this summer if Atletico Madrid cough up €40m (£34.7m), according to reports.
ESPN, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Reds are prepared to let Grujic go this summer if their asking price is met.
The 23-year-old Serbian midfielder has been on loan to Hertha Berlin this season and he has failed to start a game for Liverpool FC since joining the Reds back in 2016.
According to the same report, Atletico Madrid could be in the market for a new midfielder this summer, as Manchester City are lining up a move to try and land Rodri.
Grujic has scored four goals and made one assist in 19 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are preparing to return to Premier League action on Friday night when they host Huddersfield Town at Anfield.
The Reds are aiming to try and win the Premier League and Champions League this season as they look to lift their first major trophies under Jurgen Klopp.
The Merseyside outfit will take on FC Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League next month as they aim to reach the final for the second season running.
