The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a potential deal to sign the impressive Ajax winger in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Ajax could demand up to £45m for the Brazil international after his impressive performances in the Eredivisie this term.
According to the same story, Manchester United could face competition from their Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool FC at the end of the season.

Neres has scored eight goals and has made eight assists in 27 games in the Eredivisie this season to underline his talent in the Dutch top flight.
The young Brazilian has experience in the Champions League, having scored two goals and made two assists to help Ajax progress in Europe.
Neres was part of the Ajax team that were 2-1 winners against Juventus in Turin on Tuesday night as the Dutch side reached the Champions League semi-finals.
