Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes decision about Alexis Sanchez at Man United – report
Man United are looking to sell Alexis Sanchez for £50m this summer, according to reports
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sell Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that as well as potentially letting five players leave Old Trafford this summer, the Norwegian is keen to get Sanchez off the books at the club.
The same story says that Sanchez’s wages of around £505,000 a week are posing a problem for the Red Devils, with the Chilean having struggled to find form for Manchester United since his move from Arsenal back in January 2018.
The same article says that Manchester United will attempt to sell Sanchez for around £50m this summer as they look to cash-in on the 30-year-old.
According to the same story, Solskjaer doesn’t see Sanchez as a part of his plans for the coming seasons.
Sanchez has struggled to find consistent form at Old Trafford and he has only made eight Premier League starts this season due to form and fitness issues.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch showdown with FC Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are currently sixth in the Premier League table as they look to break back into the top four this season.
