Tottenham to demand £40m for 28-year-old linked with Man United – report
Tottenham are set to demand a £40m transfer fee for the sale of Manchester United target Kieran Trippier, say reports
Tottenham Hotspur will demand a transfer fee of £40m for reported Manchester United target Kieran Trippier this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that the England international is set to be one of “a number” of departures from White Hart Lane this summer as Mauricio Pochettino prepares his squad for next season.
According to the same story, Tottenham are preparing to make Trippier available for transfer this summer as Spurs plan a clear-out to make way for new signings.
The same article claims that both Manchester United and Italian side Napoli are interested in signing the 28-year-old this summer.
The England international has struggled to find consistent form all season and has scored one goal and made three assists in 25 Premier League games so far this term.
According to the same story, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is set to drive a hard bargain and he is unlikely to let Trippier leave for anything less than the £40m asking price.
The same article also says that Manchester United are set for a “busy” summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepares to revamp his squad ahead of his first full season in charge at Old Trafford.
