Tottenham could win the race to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham in the summer transfer window, according to reports
Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Lilywhites are keen to try and bring the talented England Under-21 star this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add to his squad ahead of next season.
The same article says that the 18-year-old has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain following Fulham’s relegation from the Premier League.
However, it is claimed in the same report that Pochettino’s track record of working with young players is giving Spurs the edge over their rivals in the race for Sessegnon’s signatures.
According to the same story, Tottenham are prepared to make a bid to try and sign Sessegnon this summer.
Sessegnon has been a regular fixture in the Fulham team so far this season and has scored two goals and made six assists in 31 Premier League games so far this term.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday afternoon as they look for a victory to take them closer towards a top-four finish in the top flight.
