Arsenal eye three Premier League centre-halves to solve defensive problems – report
Arsenal have looked at Toby Alderweireld, Kurt Zouma and Harry Maguire but the Gunners will need to sell to fund moves, according to a report

Arsenal are looking at three top Premier League centre-halves to improve their defence in the summer, according to a report in England.
The Sun, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Arsenal are interested Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The same article states that the Gunners have been eyeing Everton defender Kurt Zouma as a potential defensive recruit.
According to the same report, the north London side have been weighing up a potential swoop to sign England international Harry Maguire from Leicester City.
However, the article goes on to make clear that Arsenal would need to offload both Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil to fund a move for a top defender in the summer.
Shkodran Mustafi could also be axed by the Gunners in the summer to make room for a centre-half capable of improving Unai Emery’s back four, according to the story.
Arsenal have lost their last three Premier League games to Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester to cast doubt on their hopes of a top-four finish.
The north London side are in fifth place in the table and two points adrift of Chelsea FC, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
Arsenal will take on La Liga side Valencia in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final on Wednesday night.
