The Gunners are set to come up against their London rivals in Baku in the final as they look to win the competition and book their place in the Champions League for next season.
Chelsea FC have already secured their spot in the Champions League for next season after having finished third in Maurizio Sarri’s first campaign in charge.
Arsenal, meanwhile, know that winning the European title is their final hope of being able to book their spot in next season’s Champions League after they finished fifth in the table this term.
And Greek defender Sokratis knows that the Gunners will have their work cut out against their domestic rivals in Baku on Wednesday night.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Sky Sports, Sokratis said: “They have very good players (and) a good manager.
“We respect (them) but after we plan to play our game. To play our game, to create our chances, to be focused, to defend well.
“To play altogether and in the end to win the game – it’s difficult for us, but it’s also difficult for them.”
Chelsea FC will be seeking revenge after the Gunners sealed victory over the Blues in the FA Cup final back in 2017.
The Blues reached the League Cup final this season but lost to Manchester City at Wembley earlier in the year.
